Spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry Marzieh Afkham expressed regret on Tuesday over the recent death sentences handed down by an Egyptian court. Afkham expressed concern about the action of the Egyptian court, stressing that some conflicts could be solved through national talks and political agreements.
‘Such verdicts that encourage aggression will have negative impact on the reputation of the ancient country of Egypt,’ she said. She further urged Egypt to avoid taking such decisions.
